Telehealth

What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is a form of video conferencing or online video treatment that allows clients to be seen without having to physically come to the office.  Through telehealth Dr. Wetzler and his associates can now see clients from the comfort of their home or office.  Telehealth is available for anybody calling in from the states of Indiana or Kentucky and the PSYPACT states shown below.

What does Telehealth Require?

Telehealth requires that the client have access to a private place, a computer or mobile device with a camera, and high speed internet. The video call is conducted through our HIPAA complaint electronic medical records system called Simple Practice.   After your visit is scheduled you will receive a reminder call, email, and/or text and will be provided with a link to follow a few minutes prior to your appointment.

Is Telehealth Secure?

Yes. The interaction between the client and the provider is completely secure and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant. The tele-conferencing software instantly encrypts all forms of data, including video and audio.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions about telehealth.
